Asst. Director of Photography (DOP)

We are seeking an experienced and talented Director of Photography (DOP) to join our growing production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing visual and creative ideas to life and creating stunning images that tell the story of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate cameras, lighting and sound equipment to capture footage as per requirements.
  • Collaborate with the director, production team, artists and other key stakeholders to develop and execute a visual style that enhances the story being told.
  • Scout locations and plan shooting schedules and manage artists or models to ensure smooth and efficient productions.
  • Oversee the lighting, camera, and grip departments, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and used to its full potential
  • Work with the production team to ensure that all shots are captured in accordance with the script, budget, and timeline
  • Choose and operate the appropriate camera, lenses, and lighting equipment to capture the desired look and feel of each shot
  • Work with the editor to ensure that the final product meets the desired visual style and storytelling goals
  • Any other related task assigned by the management.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 1+ year experience as a DOP, cinematographer, or photographer.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling
  • Proficiency with a wide range of cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and post-production software
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of individuals
  • A passion for storytelling and an ability to think outside the box to create visually stunning images

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor degree completed (If you are skilled enough then we will consider your educational background)

Additional Requirements:

  • Must possess a can-do attitude.
  • Skilled in MS office applications, standard computer efficiency and email communications.
  • Must have advanced situational judgment ability.
  • Good in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must have to maintain communication with clients excluding office hours. 
  • Experience with remote work and virtual communication.

Salary & Other Details:

Workspace: Office

Salary: Negotiable (14k Starting)

Employment Status: Full time at the office

Provisional/Training Period: 1 to 3 Months

Compensation & Other Benefits: According to the company policy.

 

NB: There will be a 1-3 months provisional period when we will pay 50% to 70% of the salary.
